Boxbackup is an online backup client/server application. It was designed to allow a low-cost, but effective backup solution. 

 

I've been looking for this kind of tool for quite some time. Boxbackup is very security oriented with a great potential.

 

 

If you come from the MS Windows world, think a link as a "shortcut" you created on the desktop.

If you are not, well, a link gives an easy access to a file or directory from somewhere other than its location, and is a way to help you organize your files.

 

All the Linux users know about the "rwx" file permissions. These defines if the people who is the owner/ in the same group/ any other people can read/write/execute the file. However, have you notice some other things in the permission field? Sometimes a "s", sometimes a "t", or "c", "b", "l"... What does this mean?
